OPTime AI Dashboard
OPTime represents a cutting-edge online logistics platform harnessing the power of artificial intelligence to streamline fleet management processes.
OPTime Dashboard is designed to assist companies in fleet management. It simplifies tasks such as employee and mission management, enabling easy assignment of employees to specific missions through user-friendly tables.
This project primarily involved a redesign effort aimed at addressing the challenges posed by the previous dashboard. The key problem was the excessive complexity of the product, which proved to be inefficient, particularly for new system users. A clear goal, key problems, and personas had already been defined through previous user studies and interviews with end users
The design process started with a series of meetings alongside back-end developers, where we collaboratively explored the system’s functionalities (making use of tables as our visual aids :D).
Next, I transitioned into the medium-fidelity wireframing stage, where I collaborated closely with both front-end and back-end developers to grasp the system’s constraints. Following this, we conducted user studies involving three end users to fine-tune the wireframes. We tasked participants with specific actions, such as driver assignments for missions and working with tables, among others. Subsequently, armed with insights from the user studies, I proceeded to craft high-fidelity wireframes and an interactive prototype.
Then we conducted an additional user study, involving three new end users. Additionally, we granted access to the prototype to our previous participants, requesting them to interact with the system and provide feedback. Following the analysis of the feedback and the outcomes of these studies, I enhanced the design.
