Ticketing App

I worked on this project during the Google UX Design Course.

The aim of this project was to create a user-friendly application that simplifies the process of discovering and purchasing concert tickets.

As a first step, I interviewed four people (two males and two females) to gain a deeper insight into the primary challenges and obstacles they encounter when attempting to purchase or search for tickets.

Next, I analyzed five top industry applications and checked reviews from users on google play Store to gain an understanding of the primary issues faced by end users.

Using the interviews and analysis, I developed two personas.

To gain a deeper understanding of the persona’s main challenges, I defined a specific “problem statement.”

To empathize with the users, I created a user journey map to delve into the various stages that personas experience while booking concert tickets.

Once I had a clear grasp of the end user’s perspective, I dove into the ideation process, beginning with a “Competitive Analysis.” This approach helped me visualize the emotional aspects of the journey more effectively.

After these steps, I developed a solid grasp of the app’s user flow. Consequently, I created a “user flow” flowchart to visually represent my understanding and generate a checklist of all the pages that needed to be designed.

To foster greater empathy with end users and gain a deeper insight into the user flow, I created storyboards (both big-picture and close-up) that aided me in delving further into their product experiences.

I began by sketching my initial ideas on paper to establish the foundational concepts.

Once I had solid ideas in place, I transitioned to creating digital wireframes and an interactive prototype
